Ella's Kitchen Review

My little guy just turned 10 months old yesterday!! It goes by way too fast and I seriously wish time would just slow down a bit. I have been nursing exclusively and letting him choose when he wants to eat solids. It has been such a slow start for solids for him, as most babies are eating two to three times a day now. I am really lucky if Brecken will eat a small breakfast and then maybe something else for lunch or dinner...or inbetweener (is that a word?). I am just happy he is starting to explore with his palate and eat food.

Earth's Best is a GREAT company. A lot of my mommy friends know they offer yummy baby food in the "pouches", but they also have diapers and wipes and snacks! Matilda Jane *Paint By Numbers* Review & $50 Gift Card Giveaway! (Ends 12/24/2013)

I am so super duper extra freaking crazy excited about this review & giveaway from Matilda Jane! They were so nice to send Alexa over a beautiful outfit from their Paint by Numbers collection, and we couldn't get that package open quick enough. She was so excited before she even put the outfit on because of all the colors.

Every piece of this outfit was nicely packaged inside of a blush pink mesh bag. The tags were cloth, and just screamed "good quality"!! The whole set goes together so nicely. Matilda Jane is known for their wacky, yet matching clothes. Their whole collections are meant to be mix-match, so that you never have the problem of your child running downstairs in clothes that just don't match. We have this problem in my house everyday! 

 The undergarment shirt is actually a pale pastel yellow, its called their Biscuit tee, and is priced at $32. The knot top over it is called their, Turtledove Knot Top, and is priced at $44. Last but not least are the leggings, OOohhh the leggings! These are by far my daughter's favorite, and mine too! They are called their Gallery Leggings, and they are listed on the Matilda Jane website as being NEW! ;) They are priced at $34. 

I love the material and the quality of these clothes. They aren't made cheaply, and will last forever. I love that you can buy different things from the collection and it will all match together nicely, because thats how they have designed their collections. If you plan to order, I would, however, recommend sizing up. My daughter just is moving into a size 8, so most things in this size are a bit big on her, but this was just right, and the pants ran a bit short to me. I think sizing up one size would have been perfect, though.

The Honest Company Review *NEW WIPES*

To be honest, I am a wipe snob. I can experiment around with diapers, and if they blow out...just change them more often. I can work with the diaper thing...wipes...either work or don't.

I have stuck with one brand of wipes the whole time this past 5 months since my son has been born. I have actually ordered from Honest many times, and I usually give their wipes away. The first round of wipes from them were thin, the second round was thicker and a ton better, but still not for me. They obviously LISTEN to their customers, because they just revamped their wipes again for us!

It is free, and was a great resource to me before my 2nd baby was born. I actually was pretty confident I knew what I was doing, and I didn't. I learned SO much, and my carseat would have been installed WRONG, if I hadn't gone up there.

Hope you all remember the blog post review I did on this company a couple months back, if not you can go read it HERE. I have used this company for about 3 months now, and I wanted to update on how it was going. I use any kind of diapers really, there are few I don't like, like when the poop explodes up the back....I despise those diapers!! These diapers from Honest have never leaked, and I have never experienced a blow out. They are thicker than most diapers, probably because they are all natural and dont have chemicals to soak up all the "stuff". However, they work awesome! No smells either! They are however running a bit small for my guy. My son is 11 pounds at 3 months old and he is in a size 1 with ALL other brands of diapers, except for Honest. In this brand he is in size 2.

Or, if you don't like their products, you simply call and cancel. Their customer service is excellent and they dont keep you waiting on hold long! The Honest Company Review Diapers/Wipes

Jessica Alba started The Honest Company with Chris Gavigan, to make affordable, non-toxic, eco-friendly products. They really have expanded their lines to include an array of products all the way down to sunscreen and laundry detergent and floor cleaner, but I'm focusing on what I have used so far which is the diapers and wipes. 

Above here is a photo of the packages you'd receive in a bundle. A bundle is their monthly subscription for diapers and wipes. You get 6 jumbo packages of diapers and 4 packages of wipes. The bundle is $79.95 a month, however you are able to push back your subscription if you need to wait longer for more diapers & wipes, or until your paycheck comes. Also, you can cancel your subscription at ANY time. You do have to call to cancel but they are super nice, and very easy to cancel.

The best thing about their diapers are the designs! They are so incredibly cute, for boys and girls! No need to worry about needing a diaper cover anymore, these are so cute and you can opt for different designs when ordering a bundle, you can even change the designs and sizes right online for your next bundle. I used the diapers on my son, and they are equally as good as any other name brand. I haven't had any leaks so far in these diapers, but I did have a leak with Huggies so far, so I would say these are better! I have only had one month subscription so far and have gotten through about half the month since my bundle arrived and I LOVE them so far. It does seem like it would be just enough for a one month supply. My husbands cousin is also a subscriber and she said she has a lot of wipes left over because she doesnt use that many, but I seem to be using them enough to probably use up the 4 packages a month.
