Soda Stream Source Review + Giveaway! (Ends 1/31/2014)

Who is ready for this awesome review?! I was SO excited when Soda Stream sent our family the Soda Stream Source to review. Along with the machine itself, they were EXTREMELY generous and sent a TON of flavors they offer. My daughter was super excited to try this out, and it was a lot of family fun to get it going and try all the flavors out. My husband and daughter LOVE pop, but I rarely let my daughter drink it. Now, she has fun with this with all the cool flavors and I actually allow her to have some of this! :)

They have all kinds of flavors for Soda Stream. Some flavors they offer are Cola, Root Beer, Cream Soda, Lemon Live, Country Time Lemonade (Pink), Crystal Light Fruit Punch, Margarita, Peach Mango, Koolaid Tropical Punch, Cranberry, many more. They even also now offer a energy option and flavored water essences like Raspberry & Lemon, etc. We really enjoyed the flavors. I think the cap that they give you as a measurement tool actually makes it a bit too sweet and flavorful for my liking, but thats what makes me LOVE our Soda Stream! You can add as little or as much flavor as you want to your own liking. Its so customizable, you can even combine flavors!!! How neat?!

I'll let you guys in on our pictures as we made some Soda Stream Lemon Lime! :-) I only add about half a capful, then taste it before adding more...flavor at your own discretion! 

First make sure you put the cO2 tank in tightly and correctly, otherwise you will have...FLAT SODA...not fun at all.

Make sure that tank is attached good and tight!

 Fill your bottle with COLD tap water, or COLD filtered water to the LINE. 

Place your bottle up and push backwards to attach.

See? It's attached just hanging there.

Press down, and watch the lights illuminate to show how much carbonation is being added.

I like to take it to the top. 3 BUBBLES for ME!

Now...when you add your flavor. THIS IS IMPORTANT-LISTEN UP!

TILT YOUR BOTTLE AND YOUR CAP OF FLAVOR TOWARDS EACH OTHER. 

Ease the flavor in slowly pouring it, so that it drips in on the side of the bottle. Otherwise, you will have a MESS to clean up!

Now, all there is to do is ENJOY your Soda Stream! This thing saves so much money if you drink a lot of pop. I priced the flavors out at my Kroger store and they range from $3.99-$5.99 but, you can make a ton of servings, it equaled out to about $0.80 for every 2 liters. The reuseable bottle is awesome also, because it obviously helps the environment to reduce waste! I highly suggest buying an extra bottle, and keeping some carbonated water in the fridge!
